The Backyard Bird Company's Bat Cave has the workmanship of a master woodworker, and it does. An original design/crafted by local Native American "Eagle Fish" Daniels in Punta Gorda, Florida. Eagle Fish is a member of the Sault Ste Maire tribe of Chippewa Indians, file #4103. The "Bat Cave" is made of cypress, it is finished with Thompson's Water Seal for a safe and long-lasting finish. The front edges are hand waned. The Backyard Bird Company's Bat Cave holds up to 75 bats. The large one-chamber contains a high-density plastic mesh that will last for years. The Bat Cave designed has a front hand-carved unique cave entrance image. Not only is this extremely functional but a house to admire. BYBC believes this is the top heavy-duty built bat house when considering construction and durability. The BYBC Bat Cave comes with brackets to mount on a 4x4 or 6x6 post.
