Need help mounting your bird house to a metal pole? This adapter will solve the problem nicely. Black powder coated flange attaches to the base of a nest box with included screws. Stem slides into 1" (outside dimension) for pole mounting.

Before you can say "Yes, sir!" this mighty 8' post is up and ready for decades of striking beauty and rugged service. 4 x 4 treated yellow pine is precisely turned and sanded on a computer operated lathe and comes in two 4' sections with connector collar already built in. Simply apply the exterior glue (which comes with the Command Post) to the male end of the joint, slip the two pieces together, dry and place into the ground. No tools required!

It features a distinctive wrap-around porch with rear stairs, as well as the traditional front stoop. Along with a gable-covered balcony, a fleur-de-lis (the symbol of the Backyard Bird Company) adorns the front of the house, adding to it's architectural uniqueness. Unlike many decorative bird houses of this size, the Backyard Bird Cottage has two windows on each side, creating depth and interest. Two flower-boxes frame the left-hand side windows, and exclusive to this house, a hanging flower basket unlike any other. The roof, gable, and porch overhang are all covered with pine shingles. There's even a chimney. Each Backyard Bird Cottage carries our trademark and logo on the back. There's also a clean-out hatch for upkeep. It can be pole mounted or hung from the attached paddle-board. Topped with Western Red Cedar, this charming little wren house has a window box frame and planter with decorative flowers (remove flowers for outdoor use). Fully functional, this house has a bottom panel that can be easily removed for yearly cleaning. Comes with a sturdy brass chain.
